Reservations are highly recommended, particularly during tourist season (May through September). TRAVEL AGENT COMMISSIONS are available only to bonafide IATAN agents listed on the Agency Personnel List. If you are a travel agent making reservations for a client, you must contact the Oscar Gill House by phone or fax with IATA ID CARD number, agency and numeric code (please no fakes from card mills!). You will not be able to provide this information when booking on-line. Room deposits A deposit of one night's stay plus 12% city bed tax is required to reserve a room. Guest agrees to pay the balance due to the host prior to departure. Rooms are held but not confirmed until payment is received. For reservations of 4 or more nights, one-half of the total amount is due. Room rates and methods of payment We accept American Express, MasterCard and Visa, cash, personalor travelers check. All rooms will be assessed an additional 12% city bed tax. Blackout dates and gift certificates BLACKOUT DATES apply May 1 through September 30 for any certificate for "Free Night" through American Historic Inns, Stash Teas, and all other promotions. OSCAR GILL GIFT CERTIFICATES honored all year subject to availability. Cancellations and refunds Due to limited availability and high popularity of the Oscar Gill House during tourist season, a two week (14 day) cancellation policy is gentle but firm for reservations May through September. We do make exceptions for true medical emergencies, and "acts of God" (e.g., volcanic eruption, avalanche, snow in Denali, etc.—no voluntary "bumps" for free tickets and shopping at the Mall of America). If a reservation is cancelled at least two weeks in advance, the deposit (minus a $10/room processing fee) will be refunded to your credit card or by check.
